“Tegamen Safety Products Private Limited” (Tegamen) intended to catalyze startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Tegamen is in the field of manufacturing of Nitrile gloves that are made from high quality synthetic nitrile latex. Nitrile known for its excellent strength provides excellent barrier protection and protection against oil-based chemicals. These gloves provide better puncture and abrasion resistance than PVC/vinyl or polythene gloves. Nitrile Gloves are also more solvent resistant than latex rubber gloves. This product contains no latex proteins and hence it is not allergic. Its excellent elastic formulation provides the gloves maximum comfort and fit during wearing and exceptional tactile sensitivity. Rubber gloves are basically divided into 4 categories which are medical gloves, nitrile gloves, household gloves, Industrial gloves, Specialty gloves. The project envisages the manufacture of gloves mainly to meet the requirement of both Export and Domestic market of industrial and commercial units, associated with the medical field of government and private hospital. Nitrile Gloves are mainly procured from International market, currently having a size of US $11.873 billion (Nitrile Gloves Only) by Ministry of Health, Government of India for distribution to various hospitals across India. Based on the figures of government procurement, estimated sales by the medical stores, the size of the market is considered sufficient to absorb the production of a medium scale unit. The market is likely to further expand with the growth in the government procurement and open market demand. As the rubber gloves find many other applications besides medical application, the product has a good potential of sales through open market. In addition, development of novel approaches and technological advancements further supplement the growth of the India disposable gloves market. Based on form, the non-powdered disposable gloves segment is expected to experience rapid growth in the market and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 15.6% from 2018 to 2025. Our approach would provide higher level of efficiency and sustainability to healthcare services sector as well as help in the industrial development of the state.
