Terracarb is an early-stage, deep-science startup, working on developing technologies for graphene (Carbon-based Nanomaterial) production. The company's patent-pending circular-economy driven production process overcomes the conventional challenges related to chemical/physical modification, scalability, and sustainability. By utilizing bio-based high volume production chemicals and conventional industrial processes, we have developed a proprietary process for the scalable manufacturing (up to 5000 metric ton/year) of graphene. This technology offers a range of high-quality graphene-based nanomaterials, capable to cater to the need of more than 10 industry verticals, at an extremely affordable price (1/10th of the cost of global suppliers). At metric ton scale production, this technology would enable the manufacturing Graphene at ~ 15$/Kg. At present, we are incubated at the Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Park, PSG Tech, Coimbatore. The technology for Graphene production is validated and we are working with few academic and industrial partners to build use cases for our products. The main target markets for which we are developing products include energy storage, coatings, and polymer composites. We are affirmative that our efforts toward the same would enable us to be one of the largest Graphene manufacturers globally, by 2025.
