TWIN (Textile Waste Innovation Network) is a social enterprise focused on textile waste management and circular economy, legally registered as a private limited company to enable scale, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. The startup works on collection, recovery, and human-led sorting of textile waste from households, institutions, corporates and other bulk generators. Based on quality and feasibility, textiles are channelised towards reuse, recraft (upcycling and downcycling), or partner-led recycling pathways. Recycling is currently undertaken through authorised partners on a pilot and learning basis. TWIN also focuses on strengthening livelihoods of communities traditionally involved in material recovery, including the Waghari community, through structured work opportunities and ethical participation in the textile value chain.
