THARMAM THALAIKAAKUM PRIVATE LIMITED having trade mark under PRANA-X is a MedTech startup developing a novel, non-invasive intra-oral medical device that enhances natural breathing efficiency by improving nasal airflow within seconds of use. Addressing the largely unmet need of physiological breathing optimization—often overlooked in preventive healthcare—the solution leverages a unique mechanism inspired by laughter-induced airway expansion and grounded in airflow dynamics (Poiseuille’s Law). Unlike conventional respiratory interventions that are invasive, expensive, or disease-focused, PRANA-X offers a cost-effective, patient-friendly alternative applicable across conditions such as asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and lifestyle-induced breathing inefficiencies. With a working prototype, pilot study validation, patented, and clinical trials in progress in collaboration with medical institutions, the startup introduces a new interdisciplinary field, “Respirodontics,” integrating dental science with respiratory physiology.
