In their own words
Incorporated as a Pvt. Ltd Company in 2023 by Neville who is a partner at Via Milano restaurants and has been part of the food business for over a decade, and Ashwin who has spent the last 18 years between business, marketing, advertising and media strategy. The company makes its very own smoked and cured meat products, focusing on pork and b**f(buff). The product line includes Bacon, Ham, Salami, Mortadella, Naga smoked pork and Pastrami. (Sausages are currently WIP)The spice mix for each of these products are made as a SOP mixture. The mix is sent to a smoke house in Coimbatore that we have tied up with to follow our defined SOP, i,e. to source fresh, clean and healthy meat, and process the same as per the recipe for each product (including smoking of the meats and the kind of wood used, time, prepping, etc.)Currently we control demand through known circles and are in talks with other cold storages in Bangalore to create B2B distribution channels. Our next steps include, a shoppable website, and aiming at opening a Deli/Cafe for smoked meat purchase and for making sandwiches and other smoked meat options that can be consumed at the cafe. (This cafe will also serve as a cold storage and distribution point for us). We believe, charcuterie is an experience and most cities thrive on the breakfast for champions trend.Over the next few years we would like to set up our own factory and open more deli cafe/outlets across metro cities to serve and supply our charcuterie to those cities. (We are also looking at instamart, zepto and Blinkit as option to enter the cities before we enter physically).
