Thermogreen cool coat Pvt. Ltd, N Delhi is a registered company incorporated under companies Acts 2013 on the 11 Jun 2018. It is an innovative and value-driven company. As a start-up company in paint coatings, Thermogreen in association with IIT Mumbai has taken the initiative to develop and commercialize the cool coat paint for application on rooftops of houses, Industrial sheds, warehouses, Railways coaches, defense hangars, Airports etc under the registered brand " THERMACOOL". The main concept of this technology is to bring a drop in temperature of the rooftop by reflecting most of the Infra-Red Radiation from the sun (about 53%) back and hence creates cooling on the rooftop surface. This is done by suitably modifying the composition of the conventional paint systems using IR sensitive pigments. It is possible to drop the temperature of the roof by almost 15-24oC, which in turn can bring about 12-18oC drop in temperature of the inner surface of the roof, effectively reducing the inside room temperature by about 6-10oC compared to outer ambient temperature. This has been now demonstrated successfully by carrying out POC’s on several different structures, the rooftop of industrial warehouse, factory sheds, storage house, and railways. The results are more than satisfying and are better than even laboratory findings. Defense, PSUs with large infrastructure are some of the special sectors which have several specific applications. Presently we are manufacturing the products in Mumbai with Doall Corpo Pvt Ltd. under manufacturing agreement. Products namely Thermacool 0.3M, a solvent-based PU coating system used for Metal Substrates, Thermacool 0.3C. a water-based pure acrylic coating used for Masonry Substrates, and Thermacool 0.3M (FR) Fire Retardant (under trails) which offers fire retardant property and protects the metal substrate from easy firing and reduces the flame propagation. Our products are approved as per ASTM Standards by CEPT and GRIHA certification for Thermacool 0.3C for our product.
