Toposel Digital Marketing Private Limited
Mumbai, Maharashtra
In their own words
"Today, D2C businesses are on the rise in India. It just takes one brand to have a success story for other entrepreneurs to launch their business in the same space. Due to the rise of D2C businesses, founders are looking for subject matter experts to join their businesses and help them grow digitally. However, due to the lesser supply than the demand of true subject matter experts, businesses are not seeing the growth that they would like to. These businesses also then work with marketing & advertising agencies in the hopes of seeing some growth. Advertising agencies usually promote the one successful brand which they have grown to get other brands on board to work with them. They sales team of such agencies have highly talented people (like the agency founders) who convince the founders that they will see amazing results. However, once the D2C business signs up with these agencies, the people who onboarded the brand are nowhere to be seen and instead, all operations are handed over to another team entirely. These agencies sign up with clients on a commission basis which secretly motivates the agency to spend more of the client's money to increase their income. Due to this, businesses see a low ROI and also have to pay more to the agencies. Marketing agencies usually have employees who are well versed in a certain skill set. For example - one employee would be handling facebook ads, whereas another one would be handling amazon ads. This creates segregation in the online business and lacks an overall view of the business, which hampers business growth. Apart from this. the client has a separate point of contact for each service undertaken. Because of this, the client's time is divided among a lot of people, and the client has to handle the strategy in-house while the marketing agency is responsible for implementing and executing changes based on the client's requirements. Today online marketing portals like Facebook ads, google ads have become very user-friendly, and any employee with some training becomes capable of implementing these changes. So essentially, the client ends up wasting their time and money, as they are overpaying the agencies for implementing changes based on the strategies the client has made and does not see any result in the longer run. What D2C businesses need here is a strategy manager - a manager who is someone as good as a part of their internal team that makes the entire strategy and gets it implemented by their team at Toposel. Here the client would have only one point of contact, the strategy manager, and they would see sustainable growth in their business. Moreover, Toposel doesn't charge its clients on a commission basis but fixed monthly charges. So the strategy manager is very careful with the spending and ensures that each rupee is spent efficiently. This way, the Client doesn't need to worry about the spending or the results and can focus on other aspects of business like innovation, technology, offline campaigns, raising funds, etc. "
