In the year 2009, a team of professionals, namely Anil, Ajith, Patel, Pramod, and Ram, established India's first commercial-level CBG (Compressed Biogas) plant with a capacity of 4000 Kg per day. The project received PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization) approval in the year 2011. This CBG plant, located in Satara, Maharashtra, India, was established to cater to the needs of a multinational company seeking to attain a consistent temperature of 1200 degrees in their analyzing process. The CBG plant was not connected to the grid and operated fully with a 375 KVA Biogas engine. At that time, the usage of CBG in vehicles was not approved.
