We are an online logistics platform which focus on providing 20,40 foot trailers to the shipping industry. We enable meeting of shipping agents and trailer transporters. A shipping agent may not always receive the required number of trailers to complete their shipment in time nd in many cases, to receive the complete trailer requirement, they may have to pay more than they usually do or else, they might have to postpone their shipment. Shipping being a combination of a chain of events, if the transportation part is not done in the correct time, this will lead to the shipment not being in the right time time. This will affect the shipping agents and the exporter/importer alike. Coming to the transporters, a person having one trailer is also a Transporter and majority of the transporters will have bought their trailers on EMI. But do they receive enough trips to sustain their business? The more the idle time of trailers means the more loss they will have to bear. So a majority of these Transporters depend on middlemen to provide them with work. This actually increases cost to the person who requires trailers and also it eats into the income of the tranporter. The issue here is not always just the lack of work. Even when there are shipping agents who search for trailers desperately and can't find enough to fulfill their requirement, there are trailers that were lieing idle in the same time, but the requirement was not met as they did not know the availability. So, trailerji.com tries to bridge the gap between the requirement and the availability through its online platform by enabling the meeting of the shipping agents and the trailer transporters in different ports of the country. We hope to enter the booking of trailers for non containerised cargo as well. Trailerji.com will also provide the trailers transporters with a dashboard which will also provide them with the benefit of a fleet management software to track and manage their trips and trailers.
