The idea behind The TrickyScribe is of making environment a sellable product and we are all set to becoming a profit-making body against the non-profits working in the same sector. We rely on CPC and affiliate advertising as earning one’s share is always better than requesting people for charity. We find market leaders like Discovery, National Geographic and Vogue as our competitors; albeit in some other way and find our team effort faring well. Our global reach figures speak it all! The business development model has been categorized in four different phases: I. Making The TrickyScribe a platform for segmented crowd engagement a. Team building b. Obtaining a reasonable readers’ base c. Brand promotion – Bringing environment to your living rooms (currently in this phase) d. Domain-specific reach enhancement II. Bringing in a quarterly e-magazine catering South Asia-specific news stories and event-reportage pertaining to environment a. Free ad-slots for the first two editions post which they’ll be charged depending upon the aspirations of the client b. Directing these e-magazines to segmented audiences amongst the top-notch politicos, bureaucrats, academia, press and like-minded organizations. III. Expansion to print a. A separate research journal with a valid ISSN as a separate “not-for profit” entity and a designated team under The TrickyScribe umbrella b.
