Based in Tamulpur, Assam, we focus on developing high-value, health-conscious food products while ensuring sustainable livelihoods for farmers across Northeast India. Our core innovation lies in producing traditionally prepared boiled Low G.I Rice, a breakthrough in diabetic-friendly nutrition. By blending traditional processing techniques with modern scientific insights, we have successfully developed Improved Lalat Low G.I Rice, a variety that retains essential nutrients while maintaining a low glycemic index. This rice is cultivated through sustainable farming practices, ensuring both health benefits for consumers and premium pricing for farmers. Beyond rice, Trifac Agro is also advancing ginger-based value-added products such as ginger candy, ginger crisps, and ginger powder, leveraging the rich biodiversity of the region. These products not only promote health benefits but also create new revenue streams for farmers, ensuring higher returns for their produce. Our company is committed to supporting the agricultural ecosystem by working directly with over 1,000 farmers and Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), providing them with training, seeds, and financial assistance. We provide a structured market for Northeast India's unique agricultural produce, including black pepper, king chilly, bay leaf, Lakadong turmeric, and Meghalaya cinnamon.
