UNHU’s core focus is benefiting the ‘Unseen’ workers such as Gig workers, Sanitation Workers, Asha workers, Truck drivers, Construction workers, Domestic helpers, Migrant workers, etc. These are the people who contribute significantly towards the smooth functioning of our society and boost the economy of the country. However, they are often ignored in terms of providing dignity & respect and delivering social security and other benefits by Structured institutions, exacerbated by prevailing social norms. They are perhaps the world's most marginalized and vulnerable segment of society. Due to social discrimination as well as the nature of their employment, they receive limited respect for their vocation, lack regular and decent pay; have no quality of work-life balance, and usually do not have access to quality health care, employment benefits, insurance, and social security support. We have developed the UNHU Platform (short for ‘Unseen Humans’). This is a comprehensive digital platform for unseen workers and their employers/affiliated organizations. The Platform offers a user-friendly, engaging app for workers to gain awareness and access to essential services, as well as earn rewards. The UNHU Mobile App for workers streamlines awareness creation and access to essential services - providing a single window for access to services such as Financial Services, Health & Wellness services, Insurance, Community engagement, etc.
