Urban Khichdi Pvt. Ltd. (UKPL) was founded in the year 2018 with an aim to provide an enriching complete meal experience to all be it young or old. The very thought of providing a healthy one pot meal led us to explore the unexplored and readily forgotten every household simple yet fulfilling our very own Khichdi. The very thought of Khichdi makes us wonder, it only being a tex mex of Rice and Lentil with little spice that’s it but this led us to explore further, does entire world understands it the same way and this came to us as biggest surprise that there are hundreds of versions of this simple yet complete one pot meal “Khichdi”, a further drilldown made us understand why no one thought of it and this very point led us to move forward to create healthy eating habits among all. The message was loud and clear “bunk the junk”.
