UrbanFixit is a modern household services startup dedicated to making daily life easier for customers while generating sustainable income for skilled workers. We connect verified local service professionals with people in need of reliable, on-demand home services such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, hairdressers, body massagers, AC mechanics, and CCTV camera installation experts. Our platform operates as a tech-enabled service aggregator, bringing essential services to the fingertips of customers through a simple and user-friendly booking system. Whether it’s a leaking pipe, a power issue, a haircut, or an AC breakdown, customers can book trusted professionals from their neighborhood without the hassle of searching or bargaining. But UrbanFixit is more than just a convenience-based solution—it’s a people-first ecosystem designed to create jobs, promote local talent, and build a fair income model for workers. ⸻ Employment & Upliftment Model At the core of UrbanFixit’s mission is employment generation and financial inclusion. We work with a 70%-30% revenue model: for every service order, 70% of the amount is directly paid to the service provider, and 30% is retained by the company to support platform operations, marketing, customer care, and growth. This model ensures that workers are fairly compensated for their skills, while UrbanFixit sustains and expands its operations responsibly. We believe in growing together—our aim is to uplift service professionals by giving them regular work, digital exposure, training opportunities, and access to a wider customer base. Many of our service partners are independent technicians, beauticians, or handymen who previously struggled with inconsistent income. UrbanFixit offers them stability, dignity, and scale.
