At present, the disposal/resell of pre-owned electronic appliances in India is unorganized. The recycling of such used appliances is generally done in haphazard manner which negatively impacts the environment. Also, some of these appliances can be put to further use with minor repairs. But the repairs done by local vendors are not of professional standards and end up rendering the device useless before it’s full potential life and increasing the energy consumption. UTC Digital has built up a network of recyclers and resellers to help them collect, repair, resell and dispose these appliances in environmental friendly way. In doing this they have also created a value proposition for the consumers by facilitating the users a hassle-free disposal of their gadgets for the best value.
