We are 3 house wifes that started this company. At Sitara Foods, we created a platform to sell several home made food products that are sourced from thousands of House wives like us through out India, creating income stream for them, at the same time, we have a small preparation & Packing unit near Wyra, Andhra Pradesh where employ near by rural women to help prepare and pack our home made food products, empowering rural women employment. Overall, we provide a e-commerce platform for Women all over India to sell their home made food products like Sweets, Appadams, Pickles and several other food products. I think all these big ecommerce companies like Amazon, Flipkart are selling products that are made in China or Made by big corporations. No one is putting effort to empower rural employment and house hold women income streams, which we are trying to do. We have already launched the website www.sitarafoods.com and already started getting orders. I am sure with help and support of Government, we will be able to reach large number of house hold women and empower rural employment.
