VaVi brand is the outcome start-up of the Capacity building project partnering with 7 countries (Serbia, Lithuania, Poland, Vietnam, India & Turkey) co- funded by European Commission. Beside active promotion of entrepreneurship education and training youth workers, they are expected to go further to provide this type of education to groups with fewer opportunities. Using international fashion mentors, technology, environmentally friendly and sustainable fashion. Finding ethical fashion, creating employment to marginalized group by using latest technology to ease of the customer. Re-Saree (Recycling and Upcycling to Indo-Western) Saree holds a special place for Indian women, gaining importance in different phases of their lives especially at the time of wedlock, when a young bride carefully selects sarees for her wedding trousseau. Sarees are a priced possession sometimes because of the emotional value they have, as mothers pass them on to their daughters as heirloom. That being said, every woman has some sarees that have been glorifying the beauty of their wardrobes since a long time because of multiple reasons like the trend being outmoded or just because they have too many pictures wearing that saree on social media. The same goes for saree showrooms where some sarees remain unsold for years together. Re-saree helps you re-fashion such sarees and give them a trendy look. Interestingly Indo Western, Formal Wear, Casual Wear, Ethnic Wear, Traditional Wear, and Western Wear can all be made from sarees. Zampar (Indo Western wear with modern look) We witness the evolution of fashion every day. But what’s fascinating is how the fashion trends that were very popular during the early 90s have found their comeback in modern society. Crop tops are one amongst such trend that were taken by storm especially after Divine’s MIRCHI song. These tops can be paired alongside skirts, pants, denim, and many more if one is ready to explore new statements of style. Crop tops have their origin in blouse or what the local ladies call “Zampar” in Indian society. Sewists in Indian are well versed in this art. Through our “zampar” initiative. To empower these women, zampars shall be made by them by forming their self-help groups. Natural fiber’s like that of silk and cotton will be used for zampars to promote sustainable fashion. Bring your Own More often than not, fashion trends come and go. A clothing item or accessory that is super popular in one decade might disappear from the fashion era and the runways for years and years. Under Bring Your Own (BYO) you can get rid of your old clothes and give a revamping look to them. You may give us any fabric of your choice or old sarees and we will re-fashion them to give a trendy look. You may also get your dress materials stitched by expert fashion designers. Customers may suggest designs or select one from our catalogue. To solve the issues concerned with colour, fabric or design of the fabric, BYO is the best solution. We don’t want to push our ideas on to customers; we simply want to make what they want.
