Velmenni is a core R&D organization which has developed Optical Wireless Communication (Li-Fi) Technology which enables high speed & secure wireless communication using LED lights. Velmenni's technology uses light spectrum for data communication in place of conventional RF spectrum used in WiFi. Using Velmenni's LiFI technology each of LED light source can be converted into internet access point delivering high speed & secure connectivity to users in homes, enterprises, defence establishments, inside aircrafts etc. Velmenni's technology work in both indoor & outdoor environment. Velmenni has developed its IP on Optical Wireless Mesh Network which enables wireless backhaul creation to communicate data over longer distances. Velmenni's Point to Point & Point to Multipoint outdoor solution is capable to create wireless backhaul for last mile connectivity for FTTx in addition to enabling backhaul for 4G/5G small cells. It solves a major problem in areas where laying optical fibre cable is challenging or not feasible.
