1. Business Description Veloura Global Exports Private Limited operates Rootans, a premium traditional food brand connecting farmers, FPOs and women farmer groups directly with consumers. We source authentic products including A2 Gir Cow Bilona Ghee, GI-tagged Waigaon Turmeric, chilli powder from the Bhiwapur area and organic jaggery. We are developing a digital traceability system for batch-wise origin and quality verification, creating a transparent, scalable supply chain for domestic and export markets. 2. Problem Being Solved India’s traditional food sector faces adulteration, poor traceability and multiple intermediaries, reducing consumer trust and farmer income. Rootans addresses this through direct sourcing, laboratory testing, documented procurement and applicable certifications, enabling consumers to access authentic products while improving returns for farmers. 3. Uniqueness / Innovation Rootans combines direct farmer sourcing,eliminating multiple intermediaries, quality verification and planned digital traceability in one model. Products are sourced directly from identified farmers, FPO,women farmer collectives in vidarbha region ensuring documented sourcing,laboratory quality testing and compliance with applicable certifications such as FSSAI licencing,PGS organic certification and GI tag sourcing whereever applicable. Our scalable, technology-driven approach improves transparency, strengthens consumer trust and creates better market access for farmers while supporting exports.
