VENIDO CABS is an IOT based cab service which will eventually focusses on the passenger as well as driver security in both intra-city and inter-city rides. Our Government has mandated a “Panic Button” to be present in all cabs; to be used after the customer unfortunately befalls some kind of mishap. What we are trying is to completely avoid and eliminate the situation wherein the “Panic Button” has to be used. An IoT based solution has been used as will be explained in the further section. Coupled with this safety feature, we aim to provide the customer with cabs for travel within the city and for outstation rides. Along with this, we have partnered with tourism outlets across the state to provide the customers with customizable as well as per made packages for tourism activities including but not limited to Adventure Sports, Bungee Jumping, Rafting, Meditation centers, sightseeing e.t.c How we will provide safety? Here, an IoT based solution comes into play, where the passenger and the driver both can send SoS signals using our application as an interface. The passenger can send the signal to any of their loved ones, choosing the amount of data that they want to share. (Cam1, Cam 2, GPS) while the driver can send the signal only to the company. This IoT device will have 2 cameras one in front and one inside the cab, clicking pictures every 5 seconds. The front camera will cover the area ahead of the cab whereas the latter would capture images inside the cab. This would help act as evidence in case the passenger or the driver is feeling unsafe. In addition to this, a GPS module is also attached to the device which will be independent of the phone’s GPS to get the uninterrupted location of the cab in case the phone dies off. The sensor would save the data and upload it directly to the cloud which would be accessed by our Application. This removes the dependency of the smartphone over this network. Furthermore, for signal less pockets, the device is equipped to use an ad hoc network to give an uninterrupted data stream to the cloud. Customer Privacy: The passenger will be given to choose what all details they want to share with the SoS signal being sent. Application being an interface would allow them to choose between the images from Camera 1 and Camera 2 and the GPS location. Customer can share all of them or some of them depending on the SOS calling party's will. Promising driver safety while keeping the passenger’s privacy intact, the driver can send the SOS signal only to the company, which will be monitored by the company. Ensuring uninterrupted Flow of Data to SoS Receiver: The IoT device is mapped to use ZigBee connections for better communication. This technology will work even in the areas with little or no network providing an uninterrupted flow of data to the cloud where it can be accessed by the SoS Receiver. Better Customer Experience: 1. We are providing female cab drivers for female passengers for their comfort. 2. Introducing the concept of travel tribes, where you can select a group of fellow passengers with whom you would always like to travel. 3. Passenger can always choose the same driver if they wish to, keeping a track of driver’s availability. 4. Customizable tourism packages are available.
