VERIDIAN CLIMATEAG PRIVATE LIMITED
Ranchi, Jharkhand
In their own words
Veridian Carbon is an innovative climate-tech and agri-tech startup focused on highly durable carbon removal and soil revitalization. During our initial years of operation, we are actively removing atmospheric CO2 through two distinct, scientifically backed methodologies: Biochar Production: We convert ecological liabilities (invasive bushes) into a highly stable carbon sink. Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW): We utilize repurposed basalt mine waste to permanently lock away carbon. Both methodologies not only ensure verifiable carbon capture but also act as powerful soil amendments that balance pH, replenish nutrients, and have proven to spike crop yields by up to 80%. Crucially, carbon credits are not our sole revenue stream. We operate a resilient, multi-pronged business model where we also generate direct commercial revenue by selling physical products—such as raw biochar, basalt dust, and custom compositional soil mixes—to willing buyers, including farmers, agri-businesses, and NGOs.
