Vikar Recycling Solutions Pvt. Ltd was founded with the mission to recycle End-of-life Vehicles (ELV) in a clean, non-polluting and environmentally safe manner. After studying the current methods of handling ELV’s in India we realized that there is a huge need to recycling ELV’s in a clean manner. We want to ensure that no part of the automobile gets sent to landfills or any liquids escape into the earth. Also, we ensure that laborers in our company are treated with dignity and are protected from any hazardous substances and injuries. We can accomplish all this while staying profitable thus ensuring we create a sustainable business model that is good to the earth and to the balance sheet. Goals of the company: · Dismantle ELV in a safe and clean environment · Collect liquids (engine oil, brake oil, coolants, etc.) in a clean process and have them refined and reused · Gather fabric (seat covers, interiors, etc.) and send to other companies that can use it as raw material · Resell components/parts of the car that are still functional · Scale the company to large volumes as the need for recycling is huge · Ensure profit from all the operations · Provide a safe workplace for laborers · Offer our service as a CSR option for companies and institutes · Implement global safety and environment standards when scrapping ELVs We launched our website - https://www.scrapmycar.in/ under our registered trademark -ScrapMyCar. Our site gives ELV owners an instant quote for their ELV's and if they agree then we collect their ELV's and do all the legal documentation to ensure their ELV is deregistered from the RTO and cannot be used for any other purpose. Our founders are automobile enthusiasts who are concerned about the environment. They met while pursuing their MBA at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Upon returning to India they felt the need for clean automobile disposal services and thus launched Vikar Recycling Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
