Founded by a bunch of IITians with the purpose of “Giving it back” to the society with rebuilding the agricultural supply-chain with technology to empower farmers. Villageagro agritech is one of the fastest-growing agritech startups in India. Vision: Adopting Indian Farmers Company Overview: A blend of innovation and technology with a vision of ‘Adopting Indian Farmers’ and encouraging smart farming, Villageagro has pioneered in the market by launching a platform to deliver fresh vegetables, fruits, poultry, and dairy. Farmers are at the forefront of this platform. The business model is based on two models, F2C(Farmer to Consumer) and F2B(Farmer to Business). It offers farmers research on the latest technologies and trends in Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal husbandry. Villageagro handles logistics for farmers and collects directly from the farm, so no need to go to the markets or Mandi. Villageagro is an online farmers market with an acute focus to empower farmers through information and high income. #ThankHer campaign of Villageagro pledges to deliver free Sanitary Pads to Women consumers and Women Farmers. This campaign is in alignment with Villageagro’s commitment to create a sustainable and healthy ecosystem. We wish to thank thousands of women customers for their trust shown in us, and to thank Lakhs of Women farmers for their hard work to get us fresh and hygienic food.
