NEW PROJECT FOR MANUFACTURING IN NOIDA GREEN ENERGY FUEL (SHIFTING FROM DIESEL AND PETROL TO CNG TO REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS • India is poised to utilize its huge biomass potential in the coming years. Biomass and Organic Waste Sources like paddy straw, farm stubble, agricultural residue, cattle dung, sugarcane press mud, distillery spent wash, municipal solid waste, sewage treatment plants waste, offer huge potential for biogas production. SATAT initiative has the potential of addressing environmental problems arising from landfill emissions, farm stubble burning, and bringing down the dependency on oil imports. Until June 2019, Oil and Gas marketing companies have awarded 344 letters of intent (LoIs) to industry players for the production and supply of compressed biogas, informed Honourable Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri. Pradhan. • Since then, the thrust in this sector has gradually been increasing. Hon`ble Minister Dharmendra Pradhan emphasized in his address that what is considered as waste today can be transformed into energy in the near future! Every bit of biomass can be used to produce bio-gas and bio-manure. This will go a long way in making India energy self-reliant, help combat global warming and mitigate climate change. Going forward, Compressed Bio-Gas networks can be integrated with city gas distribution (CGD) networks to boost supplies to domestic and retail users in existing and upcoming markets. Besides retailing from OMC fuel stations, Compressed Bio-Gas can be injected into CGD pipelines for efficient distribution and optimized access of a cleaner and more affordable fuel. • Honourable Prime Minister of India and the Minister of Oil and Gas have sanctioned nearly 4,600 CNG stations in 9th Round of Bidding and 3578 stations in 10th round of bidding. The total of these two comes to approx. 8200 CNG stations all over India. Majority of these CNG Stations would require 2 CNG Booster Compressors that means there is a potential of approx. 12,000 - 15,000 CNG Compressors to be installed in the next 4/5 years. Out of this, as of now, approx. 2000 CNG Compressors have been purchased in the last couple of years. Therefore, it means that there is a potential of 10,000 to 13,000 CNG Compressors to be purchased in the next 4/5 years. • Presently the capacity of production of the above compressors in India is not more than 1,000 Compressors in a year. There are hardly 3/4 recognized manufacturers. Therefore, it looks there is an additional requirement of approx. 6000 compressors between gap of supply and demand. • Average price of each Compressor is around 60 to 70 lacs (30 to 40 lacs for the smaller machines and 90 to 100 lacs for the bigger machines for online application). • Government & Private buyers are keen to have alternate `SOURCES’. Besides the above, Bio Gas Plants: IOCL alone will be expected to buy minimum 2000 to 3000 Compressors. Please be informed that our new company will be doing the Packaging of CNG/Biogas Compressors of a big range. CONCLUSION: There is going to be tremendous growth potential in the Renewable Energy (Green Fuel) in the coming years in India. We have diversified now to this field and our aim to do the packaging of CNG, Bio Gas and such Compressors by our company as a startup.
