Virasat Biomass Private Limited is a clean energy startup dedicated to converting agricultural residues into sustainable biofuel, thereby addressing the dual challenges of crop residue management and renewable energy generation. Our company is establishing a modern biomass pellet manufacturing facility that processes paddy straw, rice husk, and other agricultural residues into high-quality non-torrefied biomass pellets. The startup aims to provide industries, commercial establishments, and thermal power plants with a reliable, cost-effective, and carbon-neutral alternative to conventional fossil fuels such as coal and furnace oil. By utilizing agricultural waste that is otherwise burnt in open fields, our solution helps reduce stubble burning, lower greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and support India's transition towards clean energy. Our manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced and energy-efficient machinery with a planned production capacity of 80–100 metric tons of biomass pellets per day. The project promotes a circular economy by converting low-value agricultural waste into a high-value renewable fuel while creating an additional source of income for farmers through the organized procurement of crop residues. Virasat Biomass Private Limited is committed to supporting the Government of India's renewable energy and sustainability initiatives by developing an environmentally responsible, scalable, and commercially viable biomass energy ecosystem.
