*Objective*: VISIONERS30 AGROTECH PRIVATE LIMITED aim to establish a processing unit that converts maize and zavar into finished products, thereby enhancing their economic value, creating job opportunities, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. *Location*: UMARKOTE, ODISHA in short term and in long term we will extend the project to Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka *Duration*: 04 – 05 years *Budget Estimate*: approx. 5 Crore in 05 Years Background: Maize (Corn) and zavar (Sorghum) are staple crops in many regions, providing vital food resources and economic benefits. However, many farmers often face challenges in maximizing these crops' potential due to limited processing capabilities. By developing a processing unit, this project aims to add value to these commodities, produce finished goods, and, in turn, generate employment opportunities in the community. Objectives: 1. *Value Addition*: Process maize and zavar into products like flour, snacks, and beverages. 2. *Employment Generation*: Create direct and indirect jobs for local communities. 3. *Skill Development*: Provide training programs to locals in agricultural practices and processing techniques. 4. *Sustainability*: Promote sustainable farming and processing practices to protect the environment. 5. *Market Expansion*: Establish local and regional markets for finished products. Project Components: 1. Raw Material Sourcing - *Partnership with Local Farmers*: Collaborate with local farmers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality maize and zavar. - *Contract Farming Models*: Encourage farmers to grow these crops under guaranteed buy-back agreements. 2. Processing Unit Setup - *Location*: Identify and secure premises with access to transportation and utilities. - *Equipment*: Purchase processing machinery such as driers, sorting machines, grinders, mixers, packaging machines, etc. - *Certification*: Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. 3.
