Our company provides an automated solution to programmers, hobbyists and small-scale semiconductor technology entrepreneurs who can craft their ideas in C or C-like language, and convert them to hardware using VSD (C-to-GDS) flow.VSD flow is completely build using all OPHW tools, where the user gives input algorithm in C or similar language. From here on the VSD flow takes control, algorithm (in C-language) is converted to RTL (using AHIR compiler), RTL is synthesized (using Yosys). The synthesized netlist is given to PNR tool (Qflow) and finally Sign-off is done with STA tool (using Opentimer). The output of the flow is GDSII layout, which will follow all the performance parameter defined in the C-algorithm. VSD flow also provide hooks at all stages for users working at different levels of design flow. It is tested for 1M instance count design like MIPS processor, and can be further tested for multi-million instance counts using hierarchical or glue logic. The 2 major advantages of this flow are –1. Zero cost as the entire tool chain used in this flow is open-source.2. Start to end closed system, entire VSD flow is a black-box here end-user only needs to focus on improvising their idea.
