In their own words
The founders have tried to stop our children from gorging on deep fried snacks. Deep fried snacks as you know are very unhealthy even when consumed in small quantities. We knew that most deep fried snacks have one thing in common, viz. the “CRUNCH” sound one hears when anyone is eating deep fried snack and this sound is more or less responsible for our children gorging on deep fried snacks. So, we have started VRoots Agrotech with the basic premise that we can use technology to create healthy fruits and vegetables chips which gives a very good “CRUNCH” minus all the unhealthiness of deep-fried snacks. This way the kids are happy as they get to eat crunchy foods and the parents are happy as their kids are getting the good nutrition. Crunchy and healthy fruit and vegetable chips is the first step towards realising our vision, we are working on a host of products which are “ pro-environment, healthy, delicious and affordable” We aim to achieve our vision by i) Ensure following of good NATURAL agricultural practices - helping our farmers sustain their produce and cut wastage with our partner agriculturists which ensures healthy foods AND also ensuring clean and green environment ii) Produce pro-environment, healthy, delicious and affordable foods and beverages to provide all-inclusive nutrition from a new born baby to a very old person using technology as an enabler. iii) Ensure zero wastage / recycling as an inherent culture in the organization as well as the individual lives of our stakeholders which ensures clean and green environment.
