Over the last three decades, digital connectivity transformed the world by connecting people and businesses virtually, becoming essential public infrastructure. However, physical goods movement — including groceries, medicines, parcels, documents, and industrial components — still relies heavily on road-based logistics systems that are congested, inefficient, costly, and environmentally unsustainable. AFLS proposes a long-term, scalable vision to build a fully automated underground logistics infrastructure network that connects homes, businesses, industries, and institutions across cities and eventually intercity corridors by 2050. AFLS is not designed as a delivery startup, but as foundational national infrastructure, comparable to metro rail systems, highways, water pipelines, and broadband networks.
