Xpogen Circular is building one of India's first dedicated, automated solar PV recycling facilities for the open market, with integrated on-site silver recovery as the primary revenue driver. As India's earliest solar installations reach end-of-life, millions of panels face disposal with no formal recycling infrastructure in place. We recover silver, aluminium, glass, and silicon through a mechanical-chemical process, turning solar waste into a circular material resource while enabling EPR-compliant disposal for asset owners and generators. India has crossed 110 GW of installed solar capacity with the earliest installations approaching end-of-life, yet no dedicated automated recycling infrastructure exists for the open market. Informal dismantlers destroy material value and create environmental contamination. Solar asset owners have no compliant disposal pathway. Silver, present in meaningful quantities in older panels, is being lost entirely. This gap will compound sharply through 2030 as decommissioning accelerates. Xpogen Circular uses a two-stage process: a mechanical separation line recovering glass, aluminium, and cell material, followed by a wet-chemical unit extracting refined silver. Silver sales are the primary revenue stream, supported by recovered aluminium, glass, and EPR-compliant recycling service fees. We have an active feedstock pipeline of 20,000+ panels across Maharashtra and North India, with verbal interest confirmed from established solar manufacturers. Existing recyclers handle solar panels incidentally within broader e-waste operations, with no dedicated silver recovery. Xpogen Circular is purpose-built for solar PV, with silver extraction as the primary commercial driver, fundamentally changing the unit economics from a waste management cost centre to a material recovery business. The model is also structured for PRO registration under India's e-waste EPR framework, adding a compliance-driven revenue channel as enforcement tightens.
