Commercial drivers face the difficulty in accessing various goods and services & fall victims to fraudulent deals, excessive costs and shady middlemen. They are also fragmented and have no platform for engagement. YAANAM App will solve these problems in two ways: (i) It will provide a deeply engaging platform to the unions and drivers. This will empower them, end their exploitation and help in fulfilling their statutory requirements. (ii) Yaanam will create multiple product-specific platforms and forge alliances to fulfill professional and shopping needs of commercial drivers and vehicles. Given the complex regulatory regime, a difficult target group and little understanding of trade dynamics by the startups, this opportunity is left untouched. Yaanam’s founders, on the other hand, by dint of their credentials, are uniquely placed.
