Yodda is working on providing services to aging parents that don’t have local support because their children, or next of kin may not be living with them. Yodda is solving this social issue by creating a holistic technology driven system that fills in for the children when they are not around. Yodda plans to create a robust network of on-field and on-call staff that is supported by a platform based on the confluence of new age technologies. Our staff will not only take care of everyday errands for the parents, but also be available 24/7 for all kinds of emergencies. Well initially the operations are limited to Pune, the plan is to launch in Bangalore and Hyderabad before the end of the year. The company is also in the process of creating high end assisted living facilities for the elderly that are not in a position to live by themselves alone. The company has primarily four goals: 1: Handle all emergency situations, including medical, fire and theft 2: Provide medical assistance for routine and chronic ailments 3: Provide tech, appliances and home maintenance services 4: Provide convenience services such as bill payments, taxes, banking, insurance and government work as necessary.
