ZOPNIK INNOVATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED
South Delhi, Delhi
In their own words
Zopnik Problem :The middle aged Indian women faces specific issues when it comes to shopping online. Some of them are Quality (actual product’s look and feel is different from what is shown online), fit (due to non-standard body types), and trust (only 6% of Indian women between the ages of 25 and 35 buy apparel online). On the other hand, local brands and boutiques across India are unable to scale because of limited reach and heavy competition from larger players. Solution:At Zopnik, we are trying to solve some of these problems by creating a technology platform that will enable an Indian woman to host pop up shows at home by inviting friends from her social circle. The platform solves the supply issue by connecting her to thelocal brands &boutiques. As an alternate to traditional retail management approaches and also to the e-commerce ecosystem, we have devised an O2O ( Offline to Online) which is highly scalable, tech-enabled asset light model for collaborating with a selection of curated boutiques & brands basis which we offer a comprehensive operating support to them. This will thereby enable the women to try the products before taking a conscious buying decision, also enable the popup show host to earn money out of sales and finally ensuring additional sales for the boutiques and brand partners. Market & Competition: Overall fashion and lifestyle market in India is approx. EUR 95B in offline. Over 200 Mn households in India within the income bracket of $ 3.3K & $ 18.5K are falling under the Zopnik target segment. Out of these cohort of families, Zopnik is targeting the next 100 Mn women who are living in the urban space in the country. These cohort of women are spending on an average 200 Euros annually on their clothing which converts to a Serviceable Available Market size of EUR 20B. Zopnik’s vision is to capture at least a minimum of 2.5% of SAM to have Serviceable Obtainable Market of EUR 500 Mn in the next 5 years. In terms of competition, Zopnik would be directly competing against the social commerce players on the likes of highly funded startups like Meesho, Glowroad etc and also bigger traditional players like Amways, Tupperwear etc in India.Zopnik is uniquely positioned in a sweetspot of combining offline experience with an online shopping to take over the competition through its technology.
