NIFTEM technology innovation and business incubation foundation is a Section 8 Company incubation center under the auspices of NIFTEM, supported by MoFPI and established in August 2020. NTIBIF fosters entrepreneurship and nurtures Food Tech Startups. It provides need based grant, incubation support and brings together entrepreneurs, academicians, scientists and industry experts to create an impact in the Startup ecosystem. The Startups are supported by means of access to shared office space, mentoring by experts (NIFTEM faculty, scientists, researchers etc.), access to facilities (Pilot plant, NABL accredited Food Testing Labs) of the parent institute (NIFTEM) at discounted rates, backward and forward linkages, networking, industry connects, investor connects etc. Overall, NTIBIF plays a crucial role in supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and business development in the food and allied sectors, and helps startups and entrepreneurs to successfully launch and scale their ventures in the competitive market.
