"Our startup is focused on promoting Mixed Farming, a sustainable and integrated model of agriculture that combines multiple farming enterprises such as crop cultivation, livestock rearing, poultry, fisheries, and sericulture. Unlike traditional single enterprise farming, mixed farming ensures optimal utilization of resources, higher productivity, and risk diversification. By carefully planning and integrating these enterprises with crop production, the model generates greater dividends, particularly for small and marginal farmers. This approach not only increases income but also enhances food security, employment opportunities, and resource efficiency. The farm is treated as a complete unit, where every activity is interconnected to create a balanced ecosystem. Effective integration of enterprises reduces wastage, improves soil fertility, and ensures year-round income through diversified outputs. In addition to production, the startup also focuses on the value chain by facilitating the sale and purchase of agricultural products, along with exploring export and import opportunities to expand market access. This will help farmers achieve better price realization, connect with national and international markets, and ensure long-term sustainability. Our idea aims to empower farmers, promote rural entrepreneurship, and contribute to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat by creating a scalable and replicable model of agricultural growth."
