Animal husbandry has been a backbone of Indian economy for a long time. Additionally, it helps in boosting the rural economy. It acts as an ATM for poor farmers because of daily sale of egg, meat and milk. This sector plays a vital role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially No poverty, Good health, Gender equality, Good jobs and economic growth, and reduced inequalities. Further it helps in improving lives and transforming the global economy. In spite of our global first, third and fifth rank in milk, egg and meat respectively, we are facing less availability of these products along with safety issues. The milk production in India has reached 209.96 million tons by 2020. As per the NITI Aayog 2018 report the milk, egg & meat production in India will increase to around 330 million, 100 million and 200 million respectively tons by 2030-32. However, it will be only possible if we control the animal health and try to minimize the risk that reduces the animal production. Alvi Lifescieces Pvt Ltd is a Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory focused on providing research solutions to farmers and organizations. The goal is to alleviate the financial, physical and mental losses to farmers and organizations using disease diagnostic as a tool. The aim is, 1. Early as well as precise detection of the disease 2. Efficient, advance and cost-effective treatment 3. Delivering prevention, surveillance strategies and health advisories to farmer to avoid disease out breaks.
