Ashwatta is a venture studio driven by the vision of building a sustainable future for all by 2050. Our mission is to build high-impact climate-tech solutions in India. We will especially focus on commercialisation of breakthrough innovations (hard-tech) to solve five critical areas of GHG reduction, energy and material efficiency, climate adaptation, and metrology & modelling. We bring together great researchers and entrepreneurs with breakthrough innovations that solve for challenges of Climate Mitigation & Climate Adaptation. We support them as projects within the studio and after catalysing their lab-to-market journey, spin them off as start-ups. In addition to building high-impact climate-tech projects within our studio, Ashwatta supports the development of the Indian climate-tech ecosystem through paid consulting engagements and training programs.
