Our vision is to create 9,999 successful entrepreneurs within the next 5 years from Tier-2, Tier-3, and Tier-4 areas in Tamil Nadu. To achieve this vision, we have identified 4 key missions at Talam. Mission Bloom: Our mission is to bring unregistered cottage and micro industries into the formal economy by registering them with MSME and GST. We provide the necessary mentoring and guidance to help them scale up their business to stage II. Mission Span: We aim to create a selling environment for these businesses by developing a digital marketplace exclusively for them. This will motivate them to sell their products digitally and pan-India, helping us cover most of the registered entities. Mission Growth: We identify the demand for certain products in sectors in Tier-3 and Tier-4 rural areas and empower locals by training them with specialized skills. We support them in starting their own business and bringing their products into the global market. For instance, we focus on toy manufacturing, aloe vera products, and other such sectors. Mission Success: Our mission is to provide entrepreneurs with the necessary training and coaching to build a successful business method. We also help them scale up their business with various schemes provided by the government and MSME department.
