A major chunk of India's 52% Agri-dependents comprises of small-scale and marginal farmers who don’t have a say on the prices of their produce and do not have proper channels of market linkage. This phenomenon has discouraged many small-scale and marginal farmers into abandoning farming, in favour of other menial jobs. On the other hand, irresponsible consumption and production methods have incapacitated the soil, air and water resources of our planet. Plastic pollution is at an all-time high. Water resources are being contaminated at an alarming pace, climate change is affecting life in general in unprecedented ways, harmful chemicals and plastics have found their way into our food and are affecting general health on a global scale. OUR GOALS: 1. Empower the farmer to become independently sustainable economically by adding value to their heirloom produce 2. Generate value for locally abundant but overseen crops to create a secondary channel of income 3. Create forward market linkages in India and Abroad 4. Address financial inclusion of small-scale and marginal farmers 5. Bring various indigenous herbs and spices to the fore and their health benefits
