Beeja Botanicals makes natural and sustainable products by hand for the well-being of the customer, the environment, and the community. Beeja innovates by re-connecting self care with the health and sustainability of the community and its ecosystems. Beeja Botanicals sustain the local community by providing income to people dependent on forests through value-addition for readily available raw materials, employment for women and otherwise weaker sections of society, and fair compensation at every step of the supply chain. We maintain the health of local and global ecosystems by avoiding toxic or petroleum-based ingredients, by using reusable, biodegradable, or recyclable packaging, and by promoting traditional and sustainable methods of harvesting. We support broader societal well-being by promoting diverse forms of beauty, gender diversity and equity, traditional knowledge and ethical ways of living, ethical consumption, and sustainable living. Based in Sirsi, in the bountiful Western Ghats, Beeja Botaniclas is a women-owned and -operated company enabling a more ethical and sustainable way of life.
