Farmer producer company ; completely managed and governed by small holder women farmers of Sanakhemundi block , Ganjam. Envisaged under NVUIC and supported by SFAC , Govt. of India , the FPC was registered under companies act 2013 in August 2016 . Having it’s head office at Kankorada , the FPC is engaged in building women farmers capacity through agricultural best practices for enhanced productivity; ensuring access to and usage of quality inputs and services for intensive agriculture ; enhancing cluster competitiveness ; facilitating access to fair and remunerative markets including linking Farmer Interest Groups to marketing opportunities by market aggregators. Vision : To transform the lives of farmers by making agriculture a profitable & sustainable business . Mission : To enable farmers to replace conventional farming / subsistence farming system into high value commercial organic enterprise with end-to-end facilities for production, processing, storage and marketing. Our Goals : To develop certified organic production in a value chain mode to link growers with consumers and to support the development of entire value chain starting from inputs, seeds, certification, creation of facilities, for collection, aggregation, processing, marketing and brand building initiations.Structure : Since its’ inception , the company continues to be a self-sufficient and self-managed women farmer producer company . The FPC has two tier structure consisting of the FIG and the Board of Directors . As of now the FPC has 50 FIGs comprising of 20 farmers in each group out of whom 460 farmers are share holders . The CEO of the company is being employed who has an Ex-officio role on the Board .For smooth functioning and sharing of responsibilities, there are five committees and 25 staff members to manage the whole gamut of FPC business . Services that we provide :The range of services provided by FPCs in last Five years include promotion of organic farming , seeds and other inputs supply, procurement of agricultural and horticultural produce from the shareholders, credit linkage ,agriculture machinery facilitation centre, aggregation and market value addition, technical training and skill development. As a socially responsible farmer producer company the company aims at technological and infrastructural interventions for sustainable enhancement of agricultural productivity, reducing post-harvest losses, promoting farm based industries and ensuring higher return to the farmers of Ganjam district .
