Personality assessment plays a crucial role in understanding individuals' traits, behaviors, and experiences. By analyzing an individual's personality, we can gain insights into their preferences, motivations, and suitability for different roles and environments. The existing literature indicates that personality characteristics have a direct impact on job performance, group interaction, career choices, psychological needs satisfaction, and even customer satisfaction.The current personality assessment measures commonly used in organizations have limitations. These limitations include a lack of comprehensive assessment and a focus on static traits rather than dynamic states. No single tool/assessment provides a comprehensive evaluation of an individual's personality or offers insights into their dynamic potential for growth and development in the workplace. To address these limitations, we propose the development of a new personality assessment tool that integrates both trait and state-like strengths and positive capacities. In addition to traditional personality assessment measures, the proposed tool will consider the significance of positivity and emotional intelligence in shaping individuals' career choices. By identifying and analyzing important criteria, such as confidence/self-efficacy, hope, optimism, subjective well-being/happiness, and emotional intelligence, we aim to develop a more holistic approach to understanding and leveraging individual personalities in the workplace. This approach aligns with the emerging positive psychology principles that focus on enhancing well-being, prosperity, and the good life.The objective of Spectrum is to foster and enhance Positive Organisational Behaviour - thereby moving beyond traditional OB's focus on problems and weaknesses. It highlights the positive human strengths and capacities that drive individual and organizational success - resulting in employees who are energized, engaged, and flourish at work. The model uses Trait Like and State Like parameters to create a wholesome Work Persona.
