India is the most depressed country in the world, followed by China and the US as per a 2018 report by the World Health Organisation. We have a population of around 135 crore , out of which 6.5% (around 8.5 crore people) are suffering from some form of mental illness. Out of these around five crore people suffer from depression. And rest, around three crore suffer from anxiety disorder. India has the highest number of teenage suicide rates globally. Around half of corporate employees in India suffer from anxiety and depression. Many people in India neglect their mental health condition. The pressure and atmosphere created by the society and even the family at times has made people suffer physically and mentally. People do not give the same importance to mental health as they do to physical fitness. Many people refuse to take the help and end up taking wrong decisions. Here's where our service comes in, " Compathy". Compathy is a platform where we would provide a service to people suffering from mental health conditions such as Depression, stress, anxiety and more. Compathy will have all the handy features which will help to overcome these situations. It will be in the form of an app and website that would be easily accessible to everyone, including all ages and languages.
