Delhi Institute of Education is a Premier College of Education based in Delhi. The main objective of the college is to provide quality education in the field of Education and nurture teachers and educators who can become capable to educate the next generation. Generation-Z is not just involved in teaching learning traditionally but requires a holistic education which can help them develop both personally and professionally. With the formulation of National Education Policy 2020, the term ‘education’ has today reformed in multiple ways. Be it teaching-learning process, development of the individual, holistic education, value education, Etc. NEP 2020 has transformed the way teacher education will be taking place in the future. Thus, the aim of our college is to transform and reform the way education is imparted. With NEP 2020 coming in, education has been re-defined. As per NEP 2020, a new and comprehensive, ‘National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education, NCFTE 2021 will be formulated by the NCTE in consultation with NCERT and teacher education will transform like never before. Also, the quality and development in terms of innovation and technology of higher education in India is going to be the priority of our Govt. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, digitization of education has come into place across India. In the future this will not only be encouraged but will be the need of the time.
