Derivate Labs Private Limited Manufacturer of Pharmaceutical Intermediates & Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) Bidar, Karnataka Derivate Labs Private Limited is a research-driven pharmaceutical startup engaged in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) at its facility in Bidar, Karnataka, a recognized backward region. The company focuses on innovative and cost-efficient synthetic routes, yield optimization, impurity reduction, solvent recovery, and energy-efficient manufacturing processes to improve product quality and operational efficiency. The startup is strategically planning full backward integration by manufacturing key intermediates in-house to reduce dependency on imports, particularly from China, strengthen domestic supply chains, and offer APIs at competitive and affordable prices. This approach aligns with national self-reliance objectives and supports import substitution in critical pharmaceutical segments. Currently employing around 40 people, the company plans to scale operations and increase its workforce to approximately 200 employees in the coming years.
