The Trade Mark of the Tool was registered as ‘iOsteoporos Screen’ (an Intelligent Osteoporosis Screening Solutions System). 2).’iOsteoporos Screen’ assess the conventional routine chest X-ray image of the post-menopausal women & geriatric patients in an automated way using an innovative AI Technology with an advanced deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) models and it extracts the image features; thus it gives out AI enabled predictions of Osteoporosis as well as Osteopenia at Hip and Spine and its associated future high risk for Osteoporotic Fracture with high accuracy (93%). 3).It carry out an opportunistic screening for osteoporosis and its fracture risk using the conventional routine chest X-ray image 4).It can be used for mass screening even in low-resources setting.5). It was calibrated with bone mineral density (BMD) of bilateral Hips and Spine, measured by DXA bone densitometer. 5).It was calibrated with FRAX Tool (Online Calculator)with the measured BMD values by DXA bone densitometer for the Indian Population. 6).It follows ICMR’s Normative Indian BMD database and WHO’s Diagnostic Criteria for Osteoporosis. 7).It serves as a Clinical Decision Support System to the Doctors (Radiologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Gynaecologist, Rheumatologists, Geriatricians).
