In a scenario of multi-product organization, characters of different products should complement each other than an overlapping positioning to mitigate cannibalization. LCL product carry many grey areas so are the positive commercials involved for a LCL consolidators. With almost negligible Entry/Exit Barriers numbers of LCL players are high and which the need of disruption shall be relatively easy when the business model of most of these LCL consolidators are conceptually to create grey area and harp on to that only that improving in efficiency and value stream through collaborative approach with business partners and venders. In general following are the LCL service seekers Ä BCO (Beneficiary Cargo Owner), Shipper and or C/nee Ä MNC forwarders Ä Custom Brokers Ä Co-Loaders / NVOCC Ä Local Forwarders At present most of the MNC, CUSTOMS BROKERS and LOCAL FORWARDERS do not close their own LCL Boxes, but they do not leave an opportunity of claiming as LCL service providers. Most of the MNC forwarders do have global contract in place and local office of MNC do follow / execute as it is told by the global office. LCL selling by local office is relatively low because of not having a defined service and do not have a specific target to achieve. Generally, the business model of MNC does not allow them to participate in the local market-controlled business. MNC participation in generally is in operation means its overseas selling is active than local selling. BCO’s service provider usage is primarily because of INCO terms and L/C specifications
