DS Robotics was established in 2019 as a small-scale innovation-driven initiative by a group of young engineering graduates, actively engaged in robotics research, national and international robotics competitions, and the development of functional robotics-based products, including automation solutions and sanitization devices. Building on this technical foundation and hands-on product development experience, the venture evolved into a formally incorporated private limited company, Down South Inventek Private Limited, with a focused mission to design and develop innovative, affordable medical devices that enhance quality of life. The company’s initial flagship project is the development of a portable, cost-effective shockwave therapy device, aimed at improving accessibility to non-invasive pain management and musculoskeletal treatment across clinical, mobile, and home-based healthcare settings.
