Duhkaar Food & Beverages Private Limited is a private limited company that aims at manufacturing, developing, processing, distributing, selling and trading in food and beverages items. Currently the company is developing its flagship product - a naturally flavoured seltzer/sparkling water/soda without any artificial sweetening. The naturally flavoured soda/sparkling water provides consumers a healthier option as opposed to carbonated drinks, without compromising on its taste. The product has zero sugar and zero calories, and is aimed at altering consumer behaviours to opt for healthier alternatives as opposed to carbonated and artificially sweetened beverages. The natural flavoured soda/sparkling water is a niche product that is wholly formulated and manufactured in India that is not comparable to any other product produced by an Indian company in the market. The product seeks to set a new industrial standard in Indian gastronomy by adopting naturally flavours and natural colours in our product that provides consumers the best of flavours without compromising on their health goals. The product guarantees stark improvement in the health benefits to consumers, in comparison to the carbonated drinks currently available in the market. The company is conducting its own research and development to develop its own unique flavours that is guaranteed to provide consumers with a wide variety of creative combination of flavours. Through the course of time, the company will set up vertical supply chains right from the process of procuring natural raw materials, manufacturing, setting up of plant and machinery, distribution, marketing, etc. In doing so, the company is guaranteed to generate varied employment opportunities both in the skilled and unskilled sectors throughout the country as the company expands. In doing so, the founders of the company will emulate their sustainable development goals and attempt to minimize their carbon footprint. The founders of the company have an unbridled obsession not only with the consumer’s well-being, but also the well-being of our natural surroundings. The business model of the company incorporates sustainable development practices throughout its manufacturing, processing, distributing, trading and marketing process. The company will directly or indirectly engage in recycling of waste generated through its operations with the objective to help in contributing towards a circular economy. The company’s investments will also be utilised in setting up robust recycling infrastructure, in order to achieve its goal of having negative outflow of water. . The founder of the company is an MBA graduate from a prestigious American University. His industrial expertise and global connections are being utilised to attract foreign investors. The company aims at setting up a pan-India presence with the help of foreign investments, angel investors, joint ventures, etc.
