Every year more than 3 million+ Indian adults graduate from Teacher Education Institutions across India, but only 17% get a job to become qualified teachers. This happens due to two main reasons: 1. Graduates from the Teacher Education courses like B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. lack industry-relevant skills primarily due to the obsolete curriculum. 2. Teaching as a profession has not gained enough attention and is still an unorganized market with limited career growth opportunities. Our Teachable model aims to address this problem with a two-pronged approach: a. We design and conduct courses aligned to the needs of the industry by bringing in innovation in the field of Education thereby making our users well-equipped for the market needs. b. We ensure livelihood to the users who have up-skilled themselves by bringing the job seekers and employers on a single platform. We provide the following services: • Access to good quality interactive courses integrated with Education Industry aligned skills. • Workshops/ Seminars/ Leader talks inviting reputed delegates from the sector. • Sector-specific platform that brings job-seekers and employers together. • Selection support like CV creation, mock interviews, etc.
